Administration Building Redevelopment

Korucon was proud to deliver the complete refurbishment and extension of the administration building at Rangiora New Life School, creating a modern, welcoming space that better supports the day to- day needs of staff, students, and visitors.

Appointed under a design-and-build contract, our team managed the project from resource and building consent through to construction and handover.

The existing building was stripped back to its structural frame, with asbestos safely removed before commencing with strengthening works and the 110m² extension, providing the school with much-needed additional space.

Works further included a new roof, external cladding, internal finishes, and a complete interior fit-out. New glazed partitions, custom joinery, upgraded bathrooms, and new flooring created functional, inviting spaces.

The building’s fire, electrical, mechanical, and data services were also fully replaced throughout. Externally, new decking and landscaping completed the admin building’s transformation, complementing the wider school campus.

Delivered between January and July 2026, the project shows our ability to successfully manage complex refurbishment projects within live education environments, coordinating design, consenting, structural upgrades, specialist trades, and quality finishes to deliver facilities that will serve the school community for years to come.
